I took time off and rented a car (not cheap by the way) to drive to Charles Boyd Chevrolet in Henderson, NC, to potentially purchase a vehicle. My experience as a customer was VERY insulting, and was cheapened by the auto salesmen's practices. They could've gotten a 5 star review if they would've put the spare tire back under the truck after buying a tire and the services/repairs that totaled more than $1,600.

My 3.0L Duramax diesel needed an EGR valve.
I bought an OE EGR valve online which was most economical for me. Another GMC dealership outside of Durham that I was dealing with, wasn't prompt to say the least with service at all. My truck has sat at that dealership for 2-3 weeks at a time, multiple times for simple service. I took my truck to Boyd on Tuesday, and it was repaired and ready on Thursday of the same week!! 👍

My 2023 Chevy Colorado has left me stranded twice due to the software. I entered an appointment 2 weeks in advance to get my oil changed, tires rotated and check the current software version on the truck to see if it was the latest (I told them if it needed to be upgraded I would make another appointment). They did the oil change and the tire rotation but refused to check the version and told me to make another appointment. Best experience I’ve had at a dealership. Mr. Boyd and his team were all fantastic.
I have a 2005 GMC canyon and the cluster went out in it so I contacted the dealership they was quickly to get me in and get it removed and get it sent off to be repaired got it back pretty quickly I highly recommend if you need any type of work done definitely stop by and let them check it out and see what they can do for you

My family and I were traveling to Washington DC and our check engine light came on. Thankfully we were half a mile from this dealership. Everyone we talked to was extremely friendly and they worked us in so we could get back on the road. Thank you Charles Boyd for an amazing customer experience and for getting us back on the road!
The service staff was very nice but I indicated that I wanted my old parts back and did not get them. I contacted them and still no response. My car doesn't run any better either.

We are having problems with our Trax, whose warranty expires within a few days. Charles Boyd Chevrolet told us that it cannot look at our car until after the warranty expires. If it sees the car after the warranty expires, it will not honor the warranty.
I purchased a 2023 Chevy Tahoe from salesperson Jeremiah Clark. Let me be clear, not only was he very professional, attentive to detail, and focused on ensuring my satisfaction. Jeremiah, constantly followed up with me prior and post the sale, and provided me with training and knowledge to ensure that understood all the gadgets and electronics of my new Tahoe. Charles Boyd dealership is the # 1 Dealer in Henderson, NC as far as I am concerned. I I have bought 1 2010 Silverado Truck and 1 2011 SRX Cadillac from this dealer and I have never been disappointed. I have referred several friends and family members to buy their cards from Boyd’s also. I love the Salesman that I always use. I have my car Serviced there for oil Changes, Tires Rotation and I purchase my Tires from them too.

This repair involved a break-down of my Equinox right before Labor Day. My problem was made known to John Kinton, Service Consultant. Arrangements were made for repair at the earliest possible time, and this was done under warranty. Car seems to be operating properly now. Obviously, I am very pleased with support provided by your Service Department.

I left Raleigh, after being treated like a chump at Thompson Cadillac, and traveled the 50 miles or so to Charles Boyd. There I was treated totally different. I have a lifetime GM service plan from Capital Chevrolet that wasn't in the system here. I probably won't come back for oil changes. But the service was excellent. Very fast too.
Excellent service and staff. I made an appointment for an oil change and for an intermittent warning light on my dash. Service department was not able to duplicate the warning light, they let me know and only charged me for the oil change. Very understanding and helpful.

The servicing is done timely and well. Any unexpected repairs needed are fully explained to me making me part of decisions needed. I am happy to have a company of this caliber to deal with.
